November NPD sales reveal 100% sales increase
Dec 15th 2007 4:24PM (Joystiq Playstation)November NPD sales reveal 100% sales increase
Dec 15th 2007 2:37PM (Joystiq Playstation)I indeed think that the PSP number looks good, I just think that this pspfanboy story is off. Who cares about a 100% increase compare to October? What matters is the increase compared to last year.
I think the lack of new releases this holiday season is the result of the poor psp sales last year. Hopefully, the publishers are seeing the better sale numbers and next year will be better software-wise.
On Lego Star Wars, the Complete Saga was meant for systems that didn't get Lego Star Wars I, the PS2 did get LSWI. The PSP is the only system that didn't get LSWI and is not getting LSW:CS this year.
If you go to Gamespot and click on "New releases" and check out the weeks in November, you'll clearly see how little has been released on the PSP this year.

Dec 14th 2007 12:58PM (Joystiq Playstation)Anybody noticed how poor the software line up for the PSP is this holiday season compare to 2006 and 2005. Even EA stop releasing the new Need for Speed (Pro Street) on the PSP. Lego Star Wars didn't make it this year on the PSP either. Doesn't seem like there is any noteworthy first-party release to be excited about either.
I hope the spike in sales will make game publisher interested in the PSP again.
