@Papytendo Exactly. The name was Codename: Kingdoms, which is probably a good indicator that wasn't going to be the final name. : P

Ryse = Codename: Kingdoms. Bring it!

OT: Looking forward to some cool things with Kinect. I don't have one yet (done being an early adopter with stuff), but I'm excited by its potential. Hopefully MS and 3rd parties can deliver.

@ColdHeat I think you're on to it right here. Kinect or an iPhone/iPad/Windows Phone game makes the most sense considering what they're saying.

You know, I love the variety we have here in the states. If this were Japan, all of the women would've looked almost exactly the same.

ESRB breakdowns say 5 percent of games were rated M in 2010

Mar 16th 2011 1:05AM (Joystiq)
Interesting.

The reality, though, is that the majority of AAA developers are not making games outside of the M rating. Disappointing to not see that more spread out, but it'd be nice if the industry would take notice and realize that the image problem that gaming has could be related to the fact the games that have the highest sales, most publicity and are developed by the top talent in the industry are the games that are NOT for the whole family.
