So like, they're going to do what they should have done? I don't believe that considering it's Nintendo. Nintendo does what it pleases and we mere mortals must be content with Nintendo's pleasure.
The biggest flaw with the old "tutorial" segment is that it didn't tell you everything, but as a new player, you expected it too. Had there been no "tutorial" I probably would have faired better because I would have looked stuff up instead of waiting for the game to tell me how to play (and then the game didn't really tell me much of anything)
@MasterYogurt I actually didn't think they were bad at all. They give you objectives and you can complete them quickly, if you poses the knowledge to play. For RTS tutorial missions, they are extremely quick and streamlined, you can easily ignore all the help texts and get on with playing. It does suck that their mandatory, but it also sucks that you have to play beginner zones in MMOs
I tried to like this game on PC for the Steam free weekend, but it just felt off. Like there were some cool pieces of gameplay that just didn't fit well together.
