I don't get why everyone keeps saying that that's the Borealis...

It looks like an empty Drydock with some life rafts with "Borealis" written on them.

And seeing as "apparently" (not my words, just the rumors I hear) Portal 2 is set "300 years" after Portal 1 and the events of Half Life 2 the Drydock idea is more plausible. Despite the hint at possible time travel being a side effect of going through portals.

you do realize that Shadowrun was a Tabletop RPG WAY before it was an RPG on the SNES?
