So will this be like when they made a Nickelback pack and then apologized with a massive Creedence pack three days later?

Team Fortress 2 Free2BeKicked mod creator speaks on F2P transition

@Dhexodus

Because the game maker decided that they could have it for free? I'm not going to give you a set of dice, and then say you have to give half of them to my friend if he sits down at the table.

There's a degree of reasonable entitlement. Being able to join servers falls into that. Now, if the F2Pers, (Of which I am included because I didn't have a computer that could run any games until a few days ago.) start complaining because they were kicked off the server to give a player that pays their slot, then they are overstepping their boundaries. But getting kicked off because someone created a mod to auto-kick them regardless of how many players are on the server is reasonable to complain about.

No, you were right.

Upcoming. As in, Mass Effect 3.

WRUP: Hackers!

Really, that's all this LulzSec fiasco is. Teaching people to change their passwords up a bit. Actually put some effort into protecting what's yours if it means so much to you.

I will say that the consequences are a bit steep, but if nothing else, it should teach them a lesson. Unfortunately, that lesson seems to have been "I'm entitled to keep my stuff safe behind just my cat's name, and everyone who abuses that is in the wrong, while I myself am blameless."

Nice to see Joystiq reacting appropriately, though.

@edtheshed

Well, if there's anyone who knows how to make a good Star Wars game, it's BioWare. I don't think it will be a problem.
