Well for Safari they obviously chose a compass as the icon cause a compass is iconic for an actual Safari. The calculator icon has the numbers 12374218.75 in it. The dictionary icon has some sort of Latin code that says, Lorem Ipsum Dolor Sit Amet Etiam. And of course the mail icon has a stamp on it that says Hallo from Cupertino California.
