I'm confused.

You say that Crysis 2 won't be able to run it at max. And then you're happy that the 360 version will just run it? But, aren't you saying that your PC will run it too? I forgot where it said somewhere that a game not running at max is somehow not running at all?

And, if Crysis 2 is going to run smoothly on consoles then it's probably going to run just as smooth if not smoother on a powerful PC. The 360 architecture and physical components are essentially just derived from PC components which is why it's so much easier to develop on than, say, the PS3 which is much more console-proprietary.

And Crysis on medium or medium-high or whatever the settings below max looks just as good on max. You'd be hard-pressed to find/see the differences.

There's already a Half-Life 2 mod out which is similar in regards to being infected.

You can end up infected and not tell your team mates so when you do turn you can rape them from behind or, you know, tell them and they'll kill you or if they suspect you are then they'll kill you anyway etc. etc...

If I remember it's something like 5 survivors vs. 1 initial zombie and the zombie goes around stalking you guys who have to whole up in a room while going out looking for ammo when you run low. All sorts of tense survival moments. If the zombie kills you then you end up as a zombie and the game goes on until all the survivors are dead.

I honestly can't remember the name of the mod so sorry but maybe someone here will know/remember.

christ, i'm so sick of zombies. I'd rather have another World War II game than another product featuring zombies in some capacity. At least Nazis don't just mindlessly run towards you... well, unless they're zombie Nazis.

Shit, I won't mind the wait. I have like 8 months worth of games alone from Steam's black friday + holiday sale, Star Trek Online which will probably last me 6 months, and then WoW: Cataclysm which will last me another 8 months roughly.

As a PC player of MW2... IWNet is the single biggest piece of fuck ever coded. A ground war lobby just drives you insane because it's constantly merging lobbies, unmerging, finding best host then someone leaves so it goes back to looking for more players/another lobby to merge with and it just goes on and on...

IW just got fucking greedy is what it seems like. They knew it would sell like nothing else before it and now that's it out and they've made their billions it seems like they're giving it a bare minimum of support. No doubt gearing up for the DLC push in a few months time while just barely lifting a finger to take care of the most blatant/obvious glitches in-game.

And, I think they need to can Robert Bowling and hire a new guy if nothing else than for a clean plate PR-wise.

I forgot to ask: Is PSN free or is that monthly, too?

I thought you were only playing for some special perks like, I udnno, party chat and Gold-only contests/promotions/demos/DLC....

That's redonkulous... so, for example, if someone buys Final Fantasy 11 on the 360 (this is all hypothetical, of course) they would have to pay a monthly for Gold AND the monthly for the MMO. Insane.
