Microsoft has limited XBIG games from online co-op, leaderboards, etc. Recently, a few indie devs have figured out a loophole to achieve it nonetheless, but that is why.

Not to be "out-delayed", Cthulhu Saves the World, originally for August, releases a day before the end of the year. and it was great!

since Joystiq went "free to read" i've really noticed that the entire site feels so much more alive! well done! (Goodbye DIYGamer! - jk).

After moths of waiting (it was originally scheduled for an August release) I've already finished my first playthough and i can safely say, Cthulhu is everything Breath of Death VII was and more. Astounding work by Robert Boyd! He's King of XBIG hands down (sorry Luke Schneider, you can still be Prince).

Worst Bug:

At the final boss battle in Ego Draconis Divinity 2 multiple bugs ensued including, but not limited to
1) my character while entering the "arena" falls through the ground into lava but then appears at the apex of the mountain and gets stuck in the textures there.
2) my character completely disappears while i watch a long cutscene with the boss apparently talking to himself
3) the boss falls through the floor and disappears, which apparently causes my character to die suddenly
4) after defeating the final boss, my character starts floating/flying up through the ceiling and into the sky
5) after a bizzilion tries, actually finishing the final boss battle, which must be a bug considering...

am i the only one who when hearing "Section 8" thinks something different? Perhaps the name was a part of the problem...

sounds like well-used aspects of Eternal Darkness (GC) and Call of Cthulhu (Xbox etc). both great works to take from!
