Capcom: Street Fighter X Tekken DLC on-disc to ensure compatibility

Mar 6th 2012 8:01PM (Joystiq)
@foxhound After acting like complete morons for basically all of 2011, it's nice to see Capcom isn't... going... to....

Oh right, this is Capcom we're talking about.

Nexuiz review: Red, blue and borrowed

"There are a couple of unconventional weapons, like the Electro, which fires explosive balls of electricity, and the rapid-fire micro-missile launcher, the Hagar."
So... the A S M D gun from Unreal and the Devastator from Duke Nukem 3D?

"The point-and-click adventure is back "

It came back about... 5 years ago, back when Telltale Games released Sam & Max Season One (now titled "Sam and Max Save the World").

Rumor: Blizzard embracing F2P for unannounced game

@DaviKaze I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought it looked similar to Crystalis.

Zynga's Dream Heights ready to build tiny towers on App Store

@freelancer91 The problem is that Maxis was only the North American distributor. It was made by what is now Vivarium, Inc... the same people who made Seaman for the Dreamcast.

Fun fact, Sim Tower (AKA The Tower) had a sequel (Yoot Tower for PC, published by Sega) and remake (The Tower SP for GBA, published by Sega).

At first, I had this confused with Q.U.B.E., a game from a completely different genre.

Blizzard taking Valve to court over 'DOTA' trademark

Feb 10th 2012 4:43PM (Joystiq)
@Tedstery Valve employs both Eul (creator of DotA) and IceFrog (the current DotA Allstars maintainer).

The question isn't "Why would they name it DOTA 2," but rather "Why wouldn't they name it DOTA2?"

Blizzard taking Valve to court over 'DOTA' trademark

@oxfordfishsalon According to the documentation, Valve filed said trademark back in October 2010. Blizzard filed an opposition in November 2011... over a year later.

And for some reason, this suddenly is a Big Thing in February 2012.

@BrokenCage As previously pointed out, the guy who originally created Defense of the Ancients in 2003, called Eul, works for Valve.

So, you're agreeing that he owns it and can transfer it to his employers just like the Day of Defeat, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, and Left 4 Dead guys did?
