Bioshock will ruin gaming for you by making other games look like sheer rubbish in comparison.

1 out of every 5 copies of Bioshock is guaranteed to redring your XBox due to sheer concentrated awesomeness.

The fact that Irrational (TT Boston/Australia now?) is behind this game was enough for me to wet my undergarments over Bioshock. Another atmospheric FPS from the creators of System Shock 2? Yes please!

Oh, Big Daddies are good too.

SiN preloading on Steam; retail drops 5/9

Well, you can probably tell by my username I'm a fan of the first game. Granted, it was a complete trainwreck when it was prematurely released, and even after a few patches it still had prominent glitches, but it was still a fun kitschy game (as Fortyseven mentioned, the game's atmosphere and Blade's dialog made the game for me).
