Edit > Add Hyperlink has no effect on plaintext messages, which is the only thing I send. I wish there was a plugin that would just keep mail from breaking urls across lines. :-(

The only thing that really irks me about Mail.app is that it breaks long links in plaintext messages. Is there a fix that doesn't involve making the message rich text?

Anyone who says there there are no good videogame magazines has not read Edge -- it features some of the most consistently good game writing in any medium. Published in the UK but Barnes & Noble carries it.
