I guess I'll be sticking to Call of Duty [insert even number here] from now on.

Law of the Game on Joystiq: May the Enforce Be With You

I don't mind people pirating EA games because honestly, the way they do business is pathetic, but I try to talk friends into buying independent and/or remarkable titles such as Alien Hominid and Bioshock.

I didn't buy Psychonauts on Xbox, on Steam AND on Xbox Originals just because I needed to. I payed three times for the game because I wanted to show my appreciation and support to the developer of such an underrated title.

I don't see why people make piracy look so insidious. The price of games in certain countries is the very reason those games get pirated. Most games are not priced to match the state of the economy of the country where it's being distributed.

In short, I do not condemn piracy and I think developers and publishers need to think outside the box if they want to prevent it.

Did everyone who played this game register for the EA account? Why does EA have to do things differently with their games? I will probably put the disc back in my 360 once this update hits but I'm still going to be left out of multiplayer because I will not agree to let MS send information about me to EA with the hit of a button. I just don't think this should be the norm.

Peering into the depths of Qore

True, but how many people do you think are going to feel like they are missing out on interesting PSN content by not having a subscription? It's a tactic used by corporations all the time, make it optional but appealing at first until it becomes a necessity or a must-have item to the majority of your consumer-base or audience.

What could possibly keep Sony from delivering this content free of charge?

Think about it.

Sounds like the PSN is slowly moving into a subscription model.

I concur, it's full of win. In addition, Easylist along with Easylist Element make the web a lot more inviting.
