Sounds like Sony trying to justify price points between the different versions. Software emulation seems like it would be possible but Sony wants to sell the more expensive SKU.
Just another bad decision in a long line of them.

I call it Fan boys selective reasoning disease. It destroys the connections between the left and right halves of the brain.

That is a lot of scratch, profit wise. Lets hope the lesson takes hold for game developers that if take your time and put out good content the rewards are much greater than if you just try to meet deadlines.
Just finished Halo and it was worth my $60 particularly when I consider some of the other titles I spent the same amount on.

Just a theory but I think all these complaints are from people who have talked themselves out of buying a 360 because they hate the company that made it. Now they are upset that their games are turning out to be very very good.

How exactly does BR improve the game it's self. Until you can show me that your just another fan boy trying to justify his leap of faith.

HD DVD could hold this, just use compression. What is with all the cut scenes in JRPG, It takes you out of the game. Using the engine, particularly when the content looks good is the future not splicing movies with games.

Lets also not confuse Art with Literature. The environments, music, themes are without a doubt Art. The story if it were a book would make for a very good read. This one rather pompous arbiter of all that is or isn't worthy of being called art is no better qualified to define it than you or I.

I just got a Sony E Reader this week and I am very happy with it as a device. Very small light portable and easy on your eyes, like a real book. The biggest problem with it is the price is just too high for most people and it's second problem is the size of Sony's E-Book library. If the Amazon reader is $50 as I have heard, Sony is done for.
