PlayStation 3 gets Amazon Instant Video ... kinda out of nowhere

Apr 3rd 2012 1:15PM (Joystiq)
this is awesome. buying/renting TV episodes from amazon is a lot cheaper than from other services (if you're into that kind of thing). i love to bash Sony all the time, but they get the thumbs up for this.

Gravity Rush started life as a PS3 title, inspired by Crackdown

@beestee Same here.. I actually enjoyed it -- I enjoyed all the crazy jumping, and just like.. ignoring all the henchmen, walking up to a boss, and proceeding to beat the living sh*t out of him (or her). fun times.

Faux G: New "4G" indicator on iPhone 4S is the tip of a standards iceberg (Updated)

Mar 14th 2012 11:58AM (TUAW.com)
I don't get what this guy is talking about. I love my new 4G iPhone 4s. I've gotten speeds as high as 3.90 Mbps down.. wait.. wtf.

(and that was before iOS 5.1.. barely broken 2 Mbps since then......)

basically, my iPhone feels fake now, or less substantial. I feel like I'm getting less Mbps per 'G' haha

Microsoft sold 426,000 Xbox 360s in February, 14th month in top console spot

@(Unverified) 'Cause it's the best. IMO, MS has the best vision for the future of gaming consoles. Nintendo continues to fail to see the importance of a proper online experience, and Sony just ins't trying hard enough with their 'me too' stuff, compared to the Kinect, which MS has pushed hard, with great results.

Sony closing four online titles in March, you're probably okay with it

The Mog Log: Get together

@(Unverified) word up. the necessity for grouping is what got me hooked on XI in the first place. I remember my first exp party.. as a level 10 BLM at the mhaura outpost (lol). sure, there were a lot of complaints from ppl who'd seek all night and not get an invite.. but to those ppl I always said 'make your own parties', which is what I did more often than not, and loved it. I don't regret my decision to quit so I could resume my life, but I think fondly upon XI quite often.

as far is XIV is concerned.. well, I quit XI just before XIv came out, so I never played it. but still, I kinda ha the idea that SE would take what they learned from XI, and move forward from that, as well as dropping the PS2 shackles (grrr at 80 item inventory). but it seems that they put something out that seems kinda amateur. good thing I no longer play MMO haha.
