Correct me if I'm wrong... 'Snow Leopard' is one of the most misguided Apple rumours I have ever heard. The first time I've heard that name is on that TUAW post regarding 10.6's introduction at WWDC. And that name was in a user poll. Then the next thing you see is Ars Technica adding more to the rumour, including "Snow Leopard." The author did link to TUAW, but the whole Ars post didn't even try to call attention to the fact that it's only a RUMOUR. I'm just saying that this rumour is simply too hard to believe. It's disappointing that It's garnered so much attention. So far, two posts from John Gruber about it, even.

Has anyone noticed that ever since Leopard's release, more people take screenshots of windows in their colourless, inactive state?

See, it's stuff like this that reminds me that despite the inconveniences, doing fresh installs of any 10.x.0 OS never hurt anybody.

Now that every Leopard user (who cares about their eye health) switched to the 2D Leopard dock, what's the point of drop shadows for icons, when the dock is darker than the shadow?

Is it just me, or is the word "bird" being overused in Mozilla-based applications? Think of Thunderbird, Songbird, Sunbird... and now the (awkwardly named, IMO) Instantbird.

If you want to change TUAW's look, it's got to be more than just a (badly-fitting) background. I'd like to see TUAW get a whole new look (just like Engadget and Joystiq have their own thing), and might I recommend more subtle colours like the iTunes 7 grays and purples? Seems like a better choice if you want a black background.

Sigh... I was hoping that iPhone hacking didn't need to become like the PSP homebrew scene.
