I agree getting of gas is the best idea. the cost of an infrusture upgrade to support a better system is nothing compared to the cost of displaying 100's of millions of people.

It's funny how truly bad that press conference went, the funny thing is they are walking right into the Microsoft press conference, Halo 3 and all the other great things MS are cooking up. What a joke Sony have become.

I'm thinking the dashboard update will still come soon, just not with this outage. Perhaps it will be announced at E3 as part of the Xbox 360 extravaganza.

Wow 2008 now that’s a long time for some Xbox 360 love. I thought it was bad here in NZ, March 23, 2006 seems like a good launch date now. Surely you'd just import rather than wait that long?

Don’t you think Microsoft will just allow downloads like video and music to be saved to your desktop pc via your home network? Why put money into hard drives on consoles when desktops have such large ones? That and it makes sense to have all you content stored in one location, rather than some on your console and some on your desktop.

PCs are going to become more like home servers for content like this IMO. So really the 20gb hard drive is just so users can save games and patches. Seem like enough space for that kind of thing to me.

I like the old style better so I sure hope it's not the new one.
