SoulCalibur 5's story mode is one-fourth its originally planned size

Apr 1st 2012 4:38AM (Joystiq)
I had a feeling it was rushed but I didn't know Bamco gave the devs limited resources. This makes me think Bamco never had high hopes for Soul Calibur to begin with. This is a bad precedent for the Soul Calibur series as Bamco may force the team to continue working in much more limited resources which could lead to more features lost and cut content. It's a downward spiral.

Watch the toy Portal gun do its thing

Looks like its made of cheap plastic. :/
It needs to be made of actual metal, moveable claws, a better light system and crisper sounds. That'll most likely drive the price sky high but I'd rather have a quality product than some cheap crap.

Metareview: Ninja Gaiden 3

I had a bad feeling when Team Ninja announced they were giving Ryu "feelings" for this game.
Looks like I was right. It was the beginning of the end.

BioWare done with Dragon Age 2, fully moving on to next phase

It feels like they just announced this so that they could bury the DA2 debacle under the ME3 controversy.

Oh well. At least the anime will re-ignite people's passion (ie hate) of DA2.

Mass Effect 3 on sale for $40 at Microsoft Store Online

@Shiz

It's the actual opposite. He wants people to keep on... err "holding the line" and keep their voices heard. I thought that this whole thing is just one big publicity stunt. But after reading that thread that I realized that it may be a PR stunt, bad publicity will damage BW/EA reputation and damage future ME3 and DLC sales. So I'm beginning to see this whole "Hold the Line" thing as positive.

Hudson: 'Your feedback has always mattered' in Mass Effect 3, even now

Could it be possible that the ME3 ending was specifically created to get back at the "fans" who were cyber-bullying one of their writers back when?
Or maybe Bioware planned this reaction all along so as to make fans cop out more money for a "true ending" DLC. I've been reading a lot of posts in the Bioware forums and a lot of them are willing to drop any amount of cash just to get a proper closure. Heck, Bioware has even made its fans start a charity drive to raise awareness of changing the ending.

This whole thing just stinks of one big publicity stunt and I just don't like where this is going...

$20 for existing locked content?
...I'll just wait for SFxT to drop to 30. Buying it for $80 is way premium.
