I got in unreserved line at Cherry Creek Mall in Denver at about 8:40. I was out with a new iPhone 4 by 9:15, and the mall had closed at 9. The store still had at least five or ten units sitting behind the Genius Bar, and who knows if they had any in the back.
I'm excited for the iPad because I believe it will revolutionize my day. Yes, the content that will be available will be great and I look forward to using the iPad for that purpose as well.
As a web developer, though, there are a few killers apps that I can't wait for:
OmniFocus for iPad (or another awesome GTD app) OmniGraffle for iPad A Pivotal Tracker app A Github app
"Also, instead of trying to game AT&T by using a prepaid account on a $800 phone, maybe you should work on getting better credit so you can get a real postpaid account"
Apparently, you're unaware that you can get Pick Your Plan service without any hacking whatsoever. It's detailed in the iPhone activation process.
The problem is that those messages appear whenever you do anything on the phone, whether it is free (due to my having the MEdia Max plan) or not. It's quite annoying.
My anticipation for a full day of iPhone 4
