Upon further research, it appears this may have been an attempt at "urban marketing". As it turns out, the original, complete tagline was "Get you friends ready, cause it's time for a cookout, sucka!"...but was edited down at the last minute.

At least they didn't go with the Ralph Macchio Lara Croft picture.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy about this actually. I just played Reach with that disc 2 days ago and it worked fine, it didn't prompt me to update it then, so I wasn't aware of this issue until I got the email, but it is nice to not have to worry about the disc anymore, I have plenty of space left on my hard drive.

Enough already. Do people really get this upset over spending $5 to add some variety and replay value to a game? Give it a rest. We've heard the "THIS SHULD OF BIN INCLOODED WIT THE GAME IM NOT PAYIN FOR IT LOL" argument more than enough now.

Value is not something that can be universally decided, it depends on the person. Personally, I have no problem with spending $15 to add 5 new maps to CoD, or $5 for an extra character in MK, etc...it is worth it to me if it is a game that I play frequently, why not get all you can out of a game, even if it means spending a few extra dollars on it?

I can confirm that Walmart, at least some of them, have the price drop in stores as well. I just picked mine up there about an hour ago.

@l1fef0rm The picture shown above from Target is clearly a photograph of the price in the store, not on the website. I don't know if Walmart stores have dropped yet or if it is online only, but regardless, you can just get it at Target instead, which is what I plan to do today.
