@jacobsconsciousness I concur that I just may be the only person in the universe who loved Annihilation's so bad it's good cheesiness. It didn't do justice to the first movie or even come close but something about a super campy Mortal Kombat is extremely enjoyable to me.
@Mr Fister I said that Nintendo developed the peripheral, not the software. I would love to see what Nintendo does with the software that they may have up their sleeve. I don't see it being much different that a DS game with prettier graphics and a big screen but they could be onto something. Playing Mario Paint and Super Scope games on an emulator with a wacom tablet is alot of fun.
No sarcasm was intended with my comment. As far as the video game blog world is concerned, there has been substantial demand for a follow-up of Mario Paint and has been for years. No, The N64 DD version doesn't count unless they bring it to the US via Virtual Console (which I would love to see.)
If Nintendo passes up the opportunity the make another Mario Paint then that just means that they have confirmed for the millionth time that they refuse to listen to consumer demand. It is amazing how they have survived so long by not doing just that. Go to the beat of your own drum if you like, but that can be done without ignoring the masses. The fact that Nintendo themselves developed the peripheral is a good clue about where this may be going though.
I would be stoked to see a surprise reveal of Resident Evil 6. I am most interested in seeing whether Nintendo has any cards up their sleeves for this event which is unlikely unless it is one of the "Wii" this or "Wii" that titles.
Resident Evil: Degeneration looks like the graphics were ripped right out of Resident Evil 4 and although that is a beautiful game, it just doesn't live up to the standards of a CG movie. Hopefully they raise the bar graphically next time much like Advent Children. I still say that Degeneration's story was MUCH better than than confusing mess though.
"researchers found that while the two groups got the same amount of answers right, action gamers were able to arrive at those answers about 25 percent faster." Good to know that they actually got the right answers instead of deciding at a wronger, more frivolous decision.
