Why does he need to buy something that possibly sucks when he could get the opinion of someone he trusts and base his descision on that?

I wouldn't have played Bastion if I didn't hear good things about it, I had just assumed it wasn't my kind of game. I was wrong.

It's my money and my time, I have to use them wisely. I appreciate help weeding out terrible things that will only waste my time and money.

I was excited to get Homefront but I'm sure glad I didn't, and it's because reviewers I trust advised me not to waste my money.

I'm horrified the Black Eyed Peas and I share the same plain of existence.

I really love the design... On Windows Phone 7... But weird shapes and stuff on my TV that affect my selection using a controller kind of got old fast.

I don't feel like I'm "getting better" at it either. Though I don't play with it all that much other than just games.

Like the last X3F I don't know if I can listen to this. I know I'm going to be upset. You guys have been my gaming buddies for 6 years. My friends know you guys by name, and they don't read the site or listen to the podcast. Your guy's show has meant more to me than I care to admit, even on the Internet.

News like this is terrible. Especially with good developers. Losing jobs sucks but at least weed out the bad developers. It always seems like the good ones. :(

Yikes, I have the same problem. Went to the midnight release of BF3 and this is all I saw. The only reason I was there was because it was the start of my "weekend". But now with Steam I'm not sure if I will have to do that much anymore, not that I did it often before.

Neckbeards is an amazing and accurate term.

I like the idea of actual levels, even though I adore Jetpack Joyride. I might have to try this out.

This game was a total bummer. I was actually pretty excited for it even before that nonsense marketing campaign started. Then I rented it and... Well yeah.

I didn't even buy it on the Steam sale, and I bought ALL OF THE THINGS quite honestly.

I have an issue with the term "Digital Download". Other than that it blows you can't get it. But there are always ways around it.
