DS Daily: Worst game you've played?

Dec 30th 2007 6:52PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Clearly nobody here played LifeSigns.

Virtually Overlooked Week: Eric's picks

Could be worse, you know. I lent out my copy of Chrono Trigger, and never saw that again. Luckily I'd at least beaten it (multiple times), but it still gets around 15-20 bucks on Ebay, and at one point a few years back I remember seeing it for 70 or 80 dollars there, so I was really kicking myself on that one.

Nintendo Media Summit: Picross hands-on (DS)

The online competing part though is pretty awesome.

There is one huge problem with the game though (well, two really). The whole zooming in mechanic for the bigger puzzles doesn't work really well. In addition, the scrolling around the puzzle is a huge pain, and quite often I'll press the wrong direction on the D-pad and make an X instead of filling in a box.

Theres a Palm OS picross called PictureLogic that I have on my Treo that works a whole lot better than the DS one (and plus, I have my cellphone with me a lot more often than I have my DS on me.)

Wii would like to play (Super Paper Mario)

Apr 7th 2007 2:49PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
What Nintendo really should do, is on Monday, release Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario (obviously the N64 one) on Virtual Console, and then include a note in the box of Super Paper Mario mentioning how those games are now available.

Think of all the excitement that something like that would bring, in a week that already has a great release coming in Super Paper Mario.

DS-Xtreme does everything a PSP can

I agree, get the R4/M3 Simply instead, with a 2gb MicroSD card, its not worth the extra money for the DS-X.

Mario Kart GP tosses shell at arcade

Also, the one I saw was a four-player setup.

I'm not sure about the newer ones, but I played the original I believe at Dave and Buster's in Providence RI, although it is possible it could have been at the arcade we stopped by in Vegas too, it was over a year ago.

Sega Genesis wireless controller hack brings back that lovin' feeling

Someone needs to start selling these, for those of us who can't make them ourselves. Not so much the NES ones, because the Wii remote on its side works great for me for that, but the SNES and Genesis ones.

Wii Warm Up: Revamping games for the Wii

Apr 3rd 2007 3:20PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I personally think that Killer 7 as a remake or preferably sequel would be great on the Wii. You wouldn't have to worry about moving the screen or anything like that, but it would basically be like a light gun game... Sort of.
