@Crayola Q Pants ESQ I strongly feel like you. I know I should be happy as a gamer that the gaming industry is receiving recognition, but I can't help but feel a little resentful that there have been plenty of games before LA Noire with exceptional "narrative expression, interactivity, and immersion." And yes, I also agree Heavy Rain certainly should of had a chance to receive recognition when it released back in Feb last year.
I will swallow this bittersweet pill, and only hope more good things like this to come for the gaming industry. I highly anticipate getting my hands on LA Noire when it comes out.
This is one main reason why I do not want to work in the gaming industry. Though employee longevity overall has weakened a long time ago, the way it is in the gaming industry is as short as of a life expectancy of a Mayfly.
Wow, from the looks of the comments, people are really underestimating the sheer awesomeness of this game. That makes me a sad panda. All I can say is that this game is definitely what I need to break away from the monotony of all these military shooters... If you took the huds and labels off the games you probably wouldn't 't be able to tell one from the other...
This game online co-op will fill my warm lonely nights until Gears 3 comes in the fall.
Anyone to not have liked the demo must have have much in the way of creativity or skill to pull the awesome skill shots that are available. This game does have an interesting story as the writer being the same one from Dead Space, and does have Multiplayer (sans Team Death match mode) that will increase longevity overall. This game can standalone as being one of the more innovative titles this year. It didn't even need the Gears 3 early access incentive, but is a sweet as ever bonus to preorder it.
This was a fantastic review Justin. I think you will be left with all of the black jellybeans of games, as you took something that no one wanted and do a stellar review with the right demographic, and received genuine feedback.
