If it were powered by Windows, we'd have probably divx support by now. What a joke - how hard is it to roll out another codec?

I have been a PS3-hater since system details were announced. Way too much functionality for way too much money and way too few games.

Well, I finally bought one on clearance at KMART - an 80GB model for $400. Why did I do it?

Not for the games. It was the divx announcement that sent me over the edge. The PS3 is actually a marvelous media center hub -- built in wi-fi, supports external HDs with ease, Blu-Ray, now divx. I was going to build a new computer for pretty much the same thing, and that would have cost me both money and resources. For $433 (after tax), I got everything I need in a media center.

But I will not be getting any games. Wii360 all the way.

You know, I hear rumors on the interwebs that there are vids of REAL SEX out there...just rumors though.

jsn - thanks. I actually got through expert on GH2, four or five-starring all but a couple of tracks. I'd heard over the interwebs that some people were having the same problem as me but haven't seen any centralized discussion. Don't know if it's the tabs, the guitar, or me, but it is really, really irritating.

Anyone running into problems with GH3? I swear I am hitting notes but sometimes they simply don't register. This happens ALL THE TIME when there is a long series of notes you have to hit in rapid succession. Is this a known bug or something? It is supremely irritating.

Anyone try out the demo on Live? I'm curious to see how this plays (vs. GH2).
