Medal of Honor claims UK sales top spot; Just Dance 2 debuts in third

Oct 18th 2010 12:11PM (Joystiq)
Wasn't impressed by the SP at first, but as I got into it, it's quite a bit of fun. It almost is like the halfway point between over-the-top action of COD games and the tense, stark realism of Operation Flashpoint. Though it's definitely apparent that MOH ripped off the COD device of switching between different squads/factions, which I can't really blame them for since it works pretty well.

MP on the other hand, the first time I started it up on a SD set, it looks like it squished the proportions, I'm hoping there's a setting that fixes this. Overall I'm thinking building the separate parts with different engines was a mistake

@arkweld

amen. the loading times and frequency of loading screens is maddening, especially in muliti-player having to watch the first bit of the TIR cutscene every freaking time

Shopping in the Call of Duty: Black Ops market

I kind if like this idea vs current unlocking system, hopefully it's implemented better than Reach's credit system/armory. At the very least you'll unlock things that are useful vs purely cosmetic items

Call of Duty: Black Ops getting 'brand new zombie experiences'

I gonna call $20 for the Zombies maps DLC price. Every COD release they will raise DLC maps by $5.00

Dead Rising 2 review: Duct tape beats everything

@LENSconcept

Yep, and while it was better story wise than past Halo stuff, still was as thin as a 80's action flick, and while the gameplay has been tweaked, the mechanics/button layouts feels a little dated/awkward to me

@KazamaSogetsu You should try Case Zero then. A $5 commitment that will show you the improvements and whether or not the sequel is worth it.

the story might not be that deep and it may be more of the same, but I got a feeling I'm gonna love this 100x more than Halo: Reach... whose story isn't that deep and is more of the same
