EA did revive Wing Commander. And as much as I've been defending reboots that change to fundamentals of a game's design, I have to play the hypocrite here and say Wing Commander Arena is the biggest disgrace I've ever played!

I thought DOOM 3 was brilliant. It had a lot of problems (monster closets, repetitive environments, no duct tape), but the way it all unfolded was really well. It was a well designed blend of old-school action and new-school adventure and high interactivity. Some decent scares too, and the first 20 minutes are among the best and most entertaining of any game I've ever played.

Co-Op on the Xbox port was unbelievably good too.

But doesn't everyone say PC Gamer is dying?!

There's way too much PC Gamer piracy for them to continue supporting PC Gamer. Everyone's supporting Nintendo Power, Official Xbox Magazine, and PlayStation: The Official Magazine.

This is quite possibly the best laid out tour of all time. They really know their demographics.

@StEvEY5036 Your longing to want to play it with real people would seem to contradict your feeling of it being a 'piece of crap'. That is, of course, unless you are one of those that enjoy pieces of crap.

I'm really warming up to the art style. It's still no Wind Waker, but that plasticine feel I had at the start has very much been replaced by a charming story book illustration. Looks good.

Psygnosis will always be special to me. That bloody owl is etched into my retina. But no matter how awesome their PlayStation lineup was, they'll always be associated with Amiga for me.
