Nice article, though it states what we already know. Namely, that the price is a reflection of supply and demand at a given time.

I would have liked to have seen a supply and demand graph with a supply curve and demand curve. That way, it would be easier for people to see that the pricing levels occur at the point where the 2 curves intersect.

Unless Sony drops the ball again and is unable to get more systems to stores, we will likely see the PS3 eBay prices stay in the $900 - 1000 range through Christmas, and then drop off again the day after.

It could be that there might be people buying the console who do not have an internet connection at home, in particular those in the older generation of consumers that Nintendo is aiming for.
