I'd say give Korn a chance. I'm a huge Akira Yamaoka fan and have somewhat lost interest in the series with his departure, but I think Korn will be smart enough not to do a booming nu-metal track. I think if they put their minds to it they could write something more atmospheric / fitting.
@The Tim This is a bit misleading --- say you can play games from age 7, that's 11 relevant years in the first category, 31 in the second, and about 30 in the last. The under 18 cat will be smaller because it represents less people in general.
@Akrid I highly doubt there's anything in place sensitive enough to distinguish a hammer on from a picked note. You'll probably be able to "cheat" something like a fast metal scale runs by not picking every note.
