@mywhitenoise Thank you, thank you, thank you. I could not agree with you more. While I was OK with the Desmond sequences in that regard because it game some back story, I absolutely despised the Subject 16 DLC with all the fiery passion of a thousand white-hot suns. Terrible.

If that stuff is in AC3, I'm not buying it.

I hope this is the last one. They should have stopped at the cinematic Take Earth Back trailer.

They're trying too hard to push something that really doesn't need to be pushed that hard.

@Timerider What you fail to realize is how the development process works. Bioware finishes the game several weeks before we get it in our hands, as the game has to go through certification, production for shipping, etc. once they are done.

What do you think the development team does while that happens - sit on their hands? They start working on DLC, plus any bug fixes that are found after it is sent out. Which is why you see day-one DLC, as well as day-one title updates.

@(Unverified) My thoughts exactly. I think that is a good thing as well. I'll be picking this up on release day for sure.

But playing it will have to wait until I finished the "other" game that comes out that same day. :-)

@Pete207 Read my comment again, sir. My FIRST impression was Metro 2033. From the video - closed environments, fires for light, railroad tracks that LOOK like they're underground, having to worry about scarce ammunition and making sure you choose the right weapon.

Proofreading before hitting the Submit button takes about 5 seconds on a post that short. Maybe the OP could have done that.

Replace LB2 and AC:R with Portal 2 and Uncharted 3, and I think that's the rest of your list.

I have a car (2006 Ford Escape - paid it off in 3 1/2 years). Generally driven to and from work during the week, and for running errands, going to movies, shopping, etc. on the weekends.
