Well one thing that has a chance of happening is integration of Origin with the Wii U, since Nintendo has asked EA to help build the networking infrastructure for the console. If it were to happen, it would give EA and Nintendo both huge amounts of traction, which I'd be willing to see.

Plus, competition is always great for the consumers, because both Steam and Origin will be pushing to bring us the best possible deals in an attempt to outdo one another.
