For new Wii owners, the European selections sort of pale in comparison to the US ones... but for long-time Wii owners, much nicer.

I mean, at this point in time, who still doesn't have a copy of Brawl or TP?

No way is PS4 going to debut the HVD format. That would be killing the Blu-Ray format way too soon, which sony themselves pioneered. Plus, video games are unlikely to need the huge capacities of HVD any time soon, so expect it in the PS5 instead.

No HDD is understandable. Flash based memory just performs so much better, and an HDD would be just another point-of-failure. After all, in computers, they are usually the first thing to die, and consoles are supposed to last for a much longer period of time (minimum of 5 years). 8GB is a little on the low end though... but if they don't want exorbitant prices for the console, then it's probably smart to cut down on one of the potentially more expensive components. As long as they allow for some sort of proper memory expansion... (SD cards are nice and all... but 32GB cards are still on the expensive side).

And it sounds like he's taking a stroll through Hyrule Field. I dunno, maybe Link is just badass like that, but seems more like some guy was suffering from the hangover of his life when making this, and just didn't give a crap.

I mean, heck, even the Song of Storms would have been a better fit.

I wish I had a reason to purchase them again.

I dunno about this... half the charm of the original was the wonderfully vivid pixel art, which gave it that retro feel (but at the same time the style made it seem like a more modern game). This, on the other hand, looks incredibly bland. There colours are dull, the models lack their original charm, and the lack of anti-aliasing makes all those jagged edges pop out (in a bad way).

When I heard about the 3DS version, I was hoping for the Wii art, but in layers with depth. Instead they opted for a rather tasteless remake.

And why not go with cel-shading?
