I can see why they did not update this the Fire Festival. As of right now, everything is ok in-game, Ragnaros was again pushed back when we quested in Hyjal. We are honoring the flame during this festival. Nothing has really happened in-game to suggest that Ragnaros will return this soon, seeing as to how long it took him last time to make his return. No one will expect Ragnaros and his Fire Elementals to attack during the Fire Festival. Seeing as to how Ragnaros will finally be destoryed by this time next year, Blizzard might want to update the holiday just a bit for lore reasons.

And if you guys still say Blizzard is not really updating the festival for Cataclysm, just look at what is around the corner. All signs are pointing to Firelands is being released next week. IMO, that is the best addition Blizzard can make to a holiday; brand new raid and gear.

On the topic of character customization, I got into the Rift beta. Why? Because it is good to keep tabs on the competition; to see what other companies are doing right and doing wrong. I spent an hour and a half customizing my character. I hate games that give you a bar that you move for customizing. Yes, I do believe in giving the player a choice, but, IMO, there is such a thing as giving the player too much control, too much freedom, and too many choices.

In WoW, the Race and Class determines how long I will spend on customizing him/her. My main is an Orc Warrior. I named him Zurtri. I just randomized his name and it came up with Zurtreal, or something close to that. Being my very first character in WoW, I scrolled through everything. That was 5 years ago. Most of my alts’ names are either randomized or names I make up on the spot. There has only been a few times where I have either deleted an alt or paid for a race/re-customization change. All my casters are female besides my Tauren Shaman and Undead Warlock.

I use to love DuckTales. That, and rest of the Disney shows of the 1980s and 1990s. Thank you getting the song stuck back in my head. I use to sing it everywhere.

I remember the first time my guild got All You Can Eat. We had two ICC Achievement groups. We kept on getting 6 stacks of the debuff. We tired almost every single tactic that was out there. Finally, someone found a post that simple stated to just Zerg Rush Sindragosa. So, being on the verge of killing ourselves, we decided to just Zerg Rush the achievement. It was hilarious in vent once we got the achievement. Especially when the core group came into our channel to ask us how the hell we were able to do it.

If all else fails, Zerg Rush!

A feat of Horde Engineering if I ever saw one! Awesome work Rene! I hope that Blizzard will let the Horde trade in their current mounts for a fleet of Mugen Seiki MBX-5Ts.

Ok, so I need 4 Sunflowers instead of 3 for 'Someone Setup the Pumpkin Bomb'. I just have one question: How on earth can you combat 4-5 Aboms before you get 10 sunpower? That is the only thing pissing me off. I have guild members doing this quest on multiple toons and saying how easy this quest is. I know Blizzard would not make a quest like this so difficult that there is no way to do it. Maybe it is RGN or just pure luck or just the way the quest is designed. I will try it again later and hopefully have better luck.

Oh, thank the Titans. My DPS as Fury dropped 4k with this patch. I hope i got some of it back. Damn you ArP, you double bladed axe. Oh, by the way, does anyone know if the Balance move Solar Beam Interrupts the Transformation casting on the Less-rabi boss? Everyone fails at the interupts and I would really like to get the Red Proto-Drake.

Yeah, I have been wanting to know the same thing. I only need two achievements for Merrymaker and I will have my Violet Proto Drake. Should I go do Ulduar for a Drake now or will the Violet Proto Drake give me 310% flying? Or will all 310% flying mounts in-game now be converted down to 280% flying speed, (if you will be able to still get them), and have 310% still have to be purchased? If someone does answer this, I would like to thank you for your time in answering this question that has been eating away at me since the last Feast of Winter Veil.

I have a question for leveling from 1-60 come Catacylsm: Hierloom or not to Hierloom? That is the question.
