Meh. Well, at least Monster Hunter is the only game that needs it.
I mean, Monster Hunter is great, but I'm not looking forward to playing too many games with this peripheral.

If they do implement the analog add-on for this game, I REALLY hope it's optional.

Consoles at $50 cheaper seems very attractive, but I will not be getting one.

All I can say is that they had better revive this later. After reading the article on Metroid Wikia, I'm wishing they had actually finished this.
