It'd certainly be pitiful if those two guys were american (the lameness of it all would be horrifying). But since it's crazy japanese people, it's all good.

Personally I found it funny, but I'm sure that ad wouldn't be well received here. Plus it's got this catchy music from the stylus and dribbling, kinda like those Nike ads.

1- Nintendo: fun games, finally crossed from being a "concept" to actually showing it works. The orchestra was a bit wonky though.
2- MS: interesting content, but lots of boring talk. So many peripherals, let's see if they can handle them better than Nintendo.
3- Sony: a crippled PS3 for $500? No thanks. Shorter loading times and a HD are nice though.

Leto: IMO, the more "realistic" graphics try to get, the uglier things are when they really miss the mark. Besides, did you not play RE4 Leto? Don't talk about graphics when your beloved PS2 couldn't handle the game properly (less polys, less effects, only to be "compensated" with a few tacked-on extras?)

Say what you will, you've got "PS Fanboy" written across every inch of your body. Funny how you bash the Wii for being a gimmick yet Sony is already trying to copy them with the "Dual shake". The mind of a fanboy is a scary thing.

I frankly don't care what anyone has to say about Wii. I'm liking it even more just cuz everyone is os adamant on continually bashing. Congrats to the internet as a whole on breaking a new record (at least to me) on making something get old in the FIRST day. It's already the 3rd day since the announcement, can we get something else now please?

I don't wanna hear "Wii" until there's some announcement actually worth caring about.

A Spanish speaking forum Club Nintendo (the equivalent of Nintendo Power) has the fans unsurprisingly divided. Perhaps not as one-sided as it is, it's almost evenly split between those who love it, hate it, or don't think much of the name but will live with it.

It has no real negative connotations in Spanish. If it had been written "We" it'd be a derogatory term (used when reffering to someone). Wii, to some, sounds funny though I agree with those that say Wii sounds better than, say, DS in spanish as DS sounds like "diez" which means "10" (the Nintendo 10).

I can get used to the name, it goes with their newfound "disruptive" tendencies, and it was clever to let the name out early to let everyone vent, settle down and pay attention to what matters at E3: the games.

Too much movement kills legibility, a good GUI is gonna be more functional and intuitive than it will be pretty. Sadly, this one is neither.

Nice try with the Japanese, the logo at the start though... awful.

As for that third ina 3 horse race remark, we'll have to wait and see. But if the Revolution does anything like the DS...

Nintendo should take note and make an animation suite with color and timeline handling. Seriously, they've got awesome potential with the stylus and this is an awesome use for it, definitely trascends the "gimick" of the touchpad and gives it quite a good use. If Nintendo is investing in non-games like Electroplankton, why can't a palce where you can draw and animate also become a piece of software?

It's already built in, but it could be much better.
