I'm currently playing Oblivion and I've been a vampire since my third quest. I haven't had any real problems with daylight or fast travel. There is no need to sleep or rest unless you level. So really it's fairly easy to maintain a normal life style if you want. You just have to deal with people asking if you're sick, all the time. 25% equals no damage from sunlight. 50 and higher is where it starts. My character is Vampire Monk. 6x damage+ignore armor+plus vampiric strength=absolute ownage.

Sorry that wasn't how I intended it to sound. I was referring to the developers not the players.

I was excited when I heard about this. I really liked the original Syndicate games, but this...Why must it be an FPS? I love shooters, but I hate when great tactile strategy games are turned into an FPS. Is the strategy genre dead or something? Yet another classic title ruined by FPS junkies. I really had hope for a new Syndicate game, but now; I'm not so sure.

A prequel? Way to stick to your own mythos Capcom. Seriously this is worse then Marvel continuity issues. I preferred it more when it was a reboot.
Then again Capcom has had continuity issues with series before. In DMC 3 Dante discovers his demon powers, but in DMC 1 Dante clearly states in the beginning of the game that, "Even as a child I had powers." So I suppose we can't really complain.

What the video footage shows belays the article states. That was hardly fast paced for a DMC title. 3 looked much more frenetic then this; hell, Street Fighter is faster than this. It still has a while before release which should give them time to fix this and polish the game some. The demo that is bound to come out will either confirm our fears our alleviate them.
Bear mind though, Ninja Theory doesn't know how to make a game challenging. Expect a pretty good story with easy game play. (I hope I'm proven wrong on this)

Gamefly is going the Gametap route huh? Could be interesting. I thought OnLive was going to be a game changer, but unless you have an extremely good internet connection the service is crap.

Gametap has had its ups and downs sense Metaboli took over but the sevirce is still pretty good, but if Gamefly can deliver the games I might just change my subscription.

Isn't Public Relations great. This is so much BS. Of course piracy was a factor. It's the reason we have DRM. It's one the worst ideas to hit the gaming.

@thisredengine Is that his name? I was just thinking that the new Dante looks like him. It might explain why Dante smokes as well... Oh god, the Dante is a self insertion of Tameem? I just got sour taste in my mouth, that's as bad as Stephanie Meyer. Bella was self insertion of her... Ah bad mental image; if Twilight was Stephanie Meyer's wet dream then what is the new DMC? I...I don't want to think about it, excuse me while go curl up in the corner.

@Lotobarnes I agree, the hair was never the big issue for me when it came to his looks. The crack addict look however still is. Though now that I've given it some thought, he just might be one. IF he is all screwed up in the head then maybe he is on crack or was the cigarettes might be a new vice.

Though it's terribly cliche for a "bad ass" to smoke. It's one of the reasons the original Dante didn't smoke.

I'm not convinced. Changing the hair in Devil Trigger mode? Meh. The game play seems off to me somehow. I can't quite put my finger on it. Really don't care for the music, but what can you do? I'll give this more time, but this guy just doesn't feel like Dante. Oh yeah and it's a definite reboot, not a prequel. Devil Trigger was discovered in DMC3 after a sweet fight with Virgil.

I'll give this more time, but it's looking like DMC won't be one of my future purchases.

Ah I got it! The combat has no oomph, it just doesn't have that epic feel like the previous games. It might be the music, but I'm uncertain at this time.
