@MPasseri It will in a way, but it will leave you wanting more. LOTS MORE. You will be hoping and praying it doesn't take some 5 years to make the sequel, because i think thats where Remedy is heading, and you will know why when you beat 'The Writer'

Alan Wake: The Writer review: Scary scribblenaut

@Ludwig Kietzmann one would say, according to all the clues in the DLC, as well as the not so cryptic message "Alan Wake's adventures in the nightmares will continue" at the end of the credits seems to point towards a sequel, not to mention that Mr. Scratch has yet to make himself more known to the audience. Barring financial problems, i think that this video game has built up enough of a following to be considered for a sequel, i mean, i've turned nearly 5 of my friends onto it, and as they say, 5 friends will tell 5 friends. . . Lets hope that Microsoft has a kind heart on the Alan Wake franchise. The game in general was great in all possible forms, and the DLC's did nothing but add to that greatness. I will admit that The Signal wasn't that satisfying, but The Writer made up for that in so many ways.
