Poor blogger, he gave an example of why Wii's hardware detracts from immersion and everyone is at his throat. Those were all perfectly valid reasons and fan boys are freakin' whiners.
The PS3 is gonna retail in Australia for bit over the price of the PS2. Back in the dark ages of the early 2000's, the PS2 cost $749au and the PS3, with current exchange rate, will be $776au. Thats not such a big shock for us Australians.
The most pivotal point in gaming, in my opinion, would have to be the release of the PS2, everyone has got one now and it is probably the first console that appealled to the masses (through singstar and eye-toy).
I think people are reading into this a bit too far. It is not so much an advertisement as a notice to inform gamers that the next hitman game is close. And no biggy about the dead woman does it really offend anyone - have any of the younger readers of the magazine not seen it before on the T.V or in movies?
