Deadliest Warrior DLC available now, adds three characters and new mode

@SolidRevolver Probably because he is...

I mean his "retorts" to their comments regarding the development just displayed the guy has no real knowledge of game development or design; I liked his videos [though his "reviews" are just him reading a synopsis of everything that happens with spoilers for 40 minutes] before that, but when he talks about video-games he becomes insufferable.

@BigEgo007 You've already proven you don't think logically...

@BigEgo007 You don't have an opinion though..unless your "opinion" is that unless a reviewer conforms to the pack they're "suspicious". Nice use of words to make your point seem credible though...

@BigEgo007 Yeah man, it's not like some people like certain games and others don't and the reviewer was expressing their opinion or anything...

@purple monkey Indeed, all those people who have different opinions to you and stated they don't like the game will be missing out on a game they don't want to play...

Personally this is exactly the kind of game I despise, the stupid, generic [this type of shooter has been done to death] shooter with no purpose other than to do the same thing you do in every single fps, but with an attached gimmick.

Let's not pretend that everyone who doesn't want to play it can't see the light...

Third episode of The Silver Lining out now

@Jack Kevorkian

You can't really compare Kotaku to Joystiq like that. Kotaku certainly releases more content, and more editorial content at that, as opposed to announcements or interviews - Kotaku also covers a wider spectrum of subjects, admittedly in a very simplistic manner. Joystiq is a decent site, but it doesn't focus on the type of games journalism I personally prefer to read; and I don't like a comment system that covers up views not shared by the majority.

I've no idea what you're actually trying to say with the line "Its not good enough tone troubled with anyway.", care to elaborate?

@Pure Black World Tendency

Try ca.Kotaku.com, or uk.Kotaku.com.

As for the game - thanks for the heads up I downloaded the first three episodes and from little I've played they seem to be of extremely high quality.

Mass Effect 2 wins GOTY, RPG, storytelling awards at DICE 2011

@Vidikron You prove exactly why these kind of awards are so moronic:

"I'm not sure you can really expect the game to garner any serious attention for any awards when the overall package isn't very appealing."

The award is for best soundtrack. Not best soundtrack in a game the majority enjoy.

@Vidikron You thought Nier's OST "sucked"? How...?

And Platinum have made two very successful new IP's with innovative takes of each gameplay formula - sure they're overrated, but they've done a hell of a lot more than any other company represented in this list last year.

And yes ME2's narrative was poorly done.

@DokiDokiBawanga If you say so - I'm amazed you beleive a good story to be based around the world crafted rather than the actual story itself but there you go...
