Pretty sure #1 is wrong. I think one liners get spoken no matter what.

Dedicated are for quick and ranked and at least here in the U.S. you always get dedicated. It's very easy to tell if you're getting dedicated or not. Play for a few hours and if you don't get a host migration screen you've been getting dedicated. Before I bought the season pass I'd get at least 5 host migrations every day, after buying the season pass I have never had a single host migration.

None of the sales has been at a cheaper price than the season pass.

@Mechazawa Prime
Before I bought the season pass I got host migration at least 5 times a day. Never once since I bought it. People with DLC most certainly do get dedicated servers.

I miss the early days when they actually sold some games at a reasonable price (400 points).

House won't vote on SOPA until 'consensus' reached

Jan 14th 2012 7:21PM (Joystiq)
Why are you guys till saying the false statement that they decided to drop DNS blocking. They have delayed the implementation, which just means it will be used after most people have moved on and forgotten about it. One of the oldest political tricks, stop falling for it.

Lamar Smith removes DNS blocking from SOPA

He never said he's removing the DNS blocking he said he'll delay implementation which mean they'll wait until people forget about it before they start doing it. This is in no way a victory of any kind. It's still in there and still will be used just later on. Can't believe Joystiq fell for this, one of the oldest political tricks in the book.

N-Control makes good after PR meltdown, donates to Child's Play [update]

Jan 7th 2012 1:09PM (Joystiq)
It's cool that they're donating money to Childs Play but they shouldn't even bother donating any of those ridiculous looking things. I don't see why anybody would ever want that thing. It's definitely not gonna make you a better gamer, I guess maybe there is some strange disability that I can't think of it might help but somehow I doubt it.
