Ticket to Ride: Europe DLC is off the rails
Jul 31st 2008 2:53PM (Joystiq Xbox)When you buy the board game, they do not give you the expansions for free. I do not know why you would expect them to do it differently for the electronic versions.

On the Connan/Leno thing. it isn't that 18-49 year olds are loose with their money. The reason ads for them are worth more is because it is hard to get them to watch anything consistantly. We watch DVDs, play video games, read blogs, use iPods and such, we don't listen to radiom we don't read magazines, and we don't watch a lot of TV shows. So the ones that can get young people consistently make more money.
If you want to advertise to middle aged women, you can go to the local hot AC station that plays Matchbox 20 and Maroon 5, or advertise in Good Housekeeping or Vogue. If you want men over 55, you can advertise on talk radio or during 60 Minutes and Matlock. There are a million places to get those people. It is hard to get young people. Thats why sports, especially football, make so much.

Oct 7th 2006 11:02PM (TUAW.com)I seriously can't believe that people miss the point of the two characters.
The "PC" guy is OBVIOUSLY Bill Gates, while the "Mac" guy is Steve Jobs as he sees himself (still young).
I really didn't think they could have made it more obvious.
Space: What Sci-Fi Channel should be (or was)
Jul 15th 2006 4:16AM (AOL TV)I don't work for Universal, but I'll let you in on the secret if you don't tell anyone
IT'S BECAUSE PEOPLE ACTUALLY WATCH WRESTLING AND SCI-FI GOT SICK OF LOSING MONEY
They tried your strategy for 10 years now and no one watched the damn channel. They put on ECW for 3 weeks and they now get 3-5 million viewers to come to their station every week. And now they can charge higher ad rates because the station has higher numbers over all.
Its wacky I know.

Scrubs: My Personal Hell
Mar 15th 2006 3:41PM (AOL TV)"My personal hell" refers to the fact that everyone around JD is in a relationship and is happy, while JD continues to be alone and drives off any woman he might get serious about.
He pretty much flat out says that at the end when everyone is together on the deck. Pay attention!
Mariska Hargitay's (temporary) replacement on SVU
Feb 1st 2006 1:59PM (AOL TV)"That storyline is pretty typical of SVU, which seems to have shied away from personal storylines for any of its cast members lately. "
