Though GT5 took way too long to finally come, I must disagree with GT6 timing. I believe they have the vehicle modeling engine down-pat and good to go for another 2 generations of GT games. The only thing they need is more muscle which the PS4 should provide for environments, particles, and physics can be added.

I can almost feel Polyphony's pain once they realized they couldn't do what they wanted with GT5 because of PS3 memory constraints alone.

I'm calling it. GT6 will be released in a bundle with release of the PS4.

Why is this considered real news when only Xbox 360 numbers are what drives this ... opinion?

I'd like to see all the numbers because the fact that Black Ops might have beat out Battlefield 3 tells me nothing really because I don't have an Xbox. I have a PS3 and a PC and I bought both Black Ops and Battlefield 3.

How about you give us overall numbers instead of Xbox specific numbers.

@leobebes Not really "blaming" anyone but it is apparent that PS3 games when high effort is put toward developing on that platform can come out much better than any of Xbox 360's best games.

Just wish there was a higher standard by developing on the PS3 first and then it would be much easier to port to Xbox 360 without losing features, looks, or functionality.

I'm so happy to see this news hit Joystiq. Maybe with the visibility of these issues now being more apparent to more of the world Activision/Treyarch will act.

I am one of those who feels as though I've misspent my $60. It's very apparent that the devs put more effort into the Xbox 360 version and most likely just because it's an easier developing platform.

Never got to finish the game because of the DLC I downloaded and played before starting the last mission. Got to Rome and climbed the wall... no guards, no scripting, nothing happening. I got stuck and was told by Ubisoft support that there was no way to fix but start over.

I'll start over because I love the game but am waiting for another month or 2 before doing that so it's all more fresh again.
