Sep 3rd 2009 5:36PM (Autoblog)I cant wait for the media backlash to start hitting the Sloanes. I also hope the IRS decides to poke their noses into this, thats $25K of extra income that they better declare.
Some unfortunate people make that kind of money in a year and have to try to support others with that and these people have the nerve of getting that kind of money and not be happy with it?

Sep 3rd 2009 11:30AM (Autoblog)The game looks nice just like Forza, the is a car blog so I'll keep it to being on topic. Owners of either console have a great racer, some have more cars some have more online features, it all comes down to racing and having fun.

Sep 2nd 2009 6:00PM (Joystiq)Regarding what FM has to offer vs others what console games have car painting to the level of Forza, how many games can you sell your custom paint jobs or specialized tunings? What about just getting online and connecting in and watching the top races being played at the moment, or being able to download the ghost runs of the top racers?

Sep 2nd 2009 5:27PM (Joystiq)They were able to get a console out a year before Sony thus getting more games out before them and keeping the costs down. All of that means more consoles sold, more consoles sold more developers on-board to work with the console. That was a problem they had with the original Xbox. I think with the number of units that are sold they're not un-happy with their media selection.
The blobs will only be issues for people playing on the Arcade units which most have probably gone out and gotten a used HD of the web. Also if you know how to drive your more than likely not going to see the blobs because they'll be behind you.

Sep 2nd 2009 4:11PM (Joystiq)Its pretty straight forward to move the data over, the transfer takes a bit of time because its USB so start if you have some demos that you can download again later trash them to speed up your transfer.
I enjoyed the interview, Dan G seems like a totally down to earth guy.
Grand Turismo fans be happy that this games exists because its pushing them to do more with GT, damage is now part of their classic franchise, we'll see how much of the online features they'll incorporate from Forza. Forza/GT doesnt matter this is a win win situation for all gamers you can get a proper racing game on either console.

Aug 26th 2009 12:03PM (Engadget)A magnifying glass in front of your digital camera will allow you to shorten your focal length to Macro lengths and also you can use your zoom too.
I've gone that route and also used a reverse mounted 50mm SLR lens
