Dragon Quest Monsters passes the million mark

Jan 26th 2007 12:26PM (Joystiq)
I belive this game is the second third party game that reached a million in JUST japan. The FF3 is 980k in Japan alone, so i would guess that they've sold a little more than 20k in the rest of the world.

Super Paper Mario coming to Wii this April

Do people know that Kameo was intended to be a N64 game?

"It takes a big person to blindly trust in something bigger than their self"

Some might argue that is not a big person but a small mind, or there wouldn't be nintendo/sony/ps3 fanboys =P

I don't know i'm actually agnostic so i don't really care about religion but i can't say there is NO god because i simply don't know nor care. I live my live for what i belive is fair... and by the law... sometimes.

We want more Miis (Wii annoyance #012)

Today's hottest game video: Virtua Tennis trailer

Dec 28th 2006 2:33AM (Joystiq)
Yup. I don't really think wii sports and virtual tennis can be considered at the same category... i think wii sports it is on a kind of it's own... it's far less than a full featured sport title, but it is way more than a mini game... is something at the middle. It does have a lot of depht but never as much as a dedicated hardcore sport game. Kind of pick up and play and master after a lot of practice.

Today's hottest game video: Virtua Tennis trailer

well... wii tennis does read at least 6 kinds of swing modes (including curve balls) that i can think of and that is not counting speed... and it only uses the wiimote, so it is not THAT dificult to implement better control mechanics on a more serious game, like swinging styles with the remote, and moving with the nunchuck... and it is still not using any buttons... so there is always a lot of possible ways of doing a "realistic" tennis game on the wii.

The importance of Wii Bowling to Nintendo

Dec 27th 2006 3:03AM (Joystiq)
I gotta be honest, i can not hold it any longer. I LOVE you, Shagi. Consider me a fan of yours. You make me happy in ways no one does. If it weren't for people like you, the internets would be far less entertaining.

One just has to admire your dedication and wit and heart for trolling about the same issue in so many ways it never gets old. You make very compelling to come to joystiq just to read your ( and vlad's) comments and watch people getting angry and desperate with you =)

I actually hope that if i ever get to have a website as popular as joystiq, people like you come and find a home, because that can only mean more hits and add impressions, and for a much more entertaining experience. I can't be the only one who enjoys this.

ON TOPIC: My family loves wii sports in unatural ways. My father (58), my uncles and aunts are so addicted to that only game that they are going to bed late just because of it. I really like it, also, and just because of my personal experience i can understand why they call it influential.

I think i'm having a lovely night, loving wii sports, shagi and almost everybody else. I'm a happy sick guy.

2AM: The Wii/PS3 lines form and spots are for sale

Dec 18th 2006 1:29AM (Joystiq)
eh...... rcme....
nintendo already sold more than 1 million systems.... those 3-4 millions everyone is talking about are worldwide numbers. Besides i'm pretty sure they are stocking a lot for the real week of christmas that is comming right now.

Metal Slug Anthology with a 'twist'

Dec 14th 2006 9:28PM (Joystiq)
if it ever goes to the virtual console it would be more expensive than the disk, you can count on it... because here you are getting 7 metal slug games, so that would be those 10 bucks seven times on the virtual console....
