May 16th 2011 2:10PM (Joystiq)
So..is the story just a generic cop doing generic cop work? I can't tell from this review.

Anonymous denies involvement with PSN hack

@Faceless Troll
Sophistication has nothing to do with intention.

The intent is there. The method can be anything. Sony has evidence that points at Anon. Anon has no evidence to show otherwise.

Sony and PlayStation 3 jailbreaker George Hotz settle out of court

Apr 11th 2011 8:05PM (Joystiq)
So after reading the settlement, it seems like Geohotz lost completely. He's not allowed to even encourage others to circumvent any protection of Sony products. And for each event that he is found circumventing, he has to pay 10 thousand dollars.

Tretton: Japan earthquake may push NGP out of 2011 in some regions

Apr 4th 2011 7:31PM (Joystiq)
It's nice of Sony to actually be worried about keeping their promise with release dates even in the face of the disaster. Kudos Sony! I just might pick up NGP day one now to show my support.

@hlarge4
Of course, if you're Nintendo, you want to bribe as many journalists as you can. But if you're the journalists, perhaps this isn't something to boast about, let alone accept. It's even scarier that readers don't find anything wrong with companies buying out journalists.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3's Shuma and Jill DLC delayed [update]

Wow $5 a character.

At least they're not charging $5 per move right? MIRITE?

Rumor: Leaked Home screens show revamped Central Plaza

Mar 10th 2011 9:06PM (Joystiq)
Home is a great idea. If they actually implemented all the features that they wanted to make when they first announce it like a TV in the room, pictures, music, etc, it'd be pretty decent. Also, I think if the load times on Home was instantaneous, then Home would be the best service on any console.
