Alan Wake busts into box form on April 3 in North America
Mar 11th 2012 8:30PM (Joystiq)In terms of overall quality, it matches them both IMO. The storytelling is superb, the gunplay is (for me anyway) extremely satisfying and the send of place and atmosphere is one of the most convincing I've ever felt in a game. I was still thinking about Alan Wake weeks after finishing it.
Not to be missed, IMO.

Mar 9th 2012 8:11PM (Joystiq)The heels on the other hand are just dumb and utterly impractical. That said, I'm still desperate to have this game in my Vita asap.

Goldeneye 007: Reloaded wants to prove it isn't an old fogie, so it has dubstep
Oct 30th 2011 8:02PM (Joystiq)I thought so too. I'm not a fan of dubstep AT ALL, but the classic-meets-techno sorta feel it had going kinda feels right for a Goldeneye game.

Oct 30th 2010 7:11PM (Joystiq)I think this debate all comes down to a few simple points.
1) Research your games before you buy. Read reviews, listen to forum chatter, watch clips. If you don't think you'll like it, don't bother to buy it. Everyone wins.
2) Don't let labels like 'art game' or 'interactive experience' influence or bother you. Art is subjective, so getting hot under the collar cos one person says it's art and you disagree gets you nowhere. Either play it or don't.
3) Be open to new experiences. For me, The Path was half simple exploration game and half puzzle of understanding. I played it by writing down what I saw and heard as I played, and by the end it was clear that the real meat of the game was in understanding what it was all about. What has happened to each girl? Who is their 'wolf?' Where did they go wrong?
@JohnyZuper: Thanks for 'The Path'. Keep doing what you do :)
