@Omnistatic They were standing around like that because you joined an ongoing game and didn't wait for it to synch up before entering the game. When joining someone eles's game, wait for their gear to become visible, then join.

@Omnistatic You are joining games before you've synched up with other players on the existing server, making everything lag out around you. Maybe research the issue a bit before shitting on the game.

I love SoulCalibur to death and will buy this day one, but goddamn the guys in the game are a bunch of androgynous anime stereotypes.

I found a giant camp that had some rock cliffs above and behind it, saved my game (important!) and aggroed with my bow. The giant came running and tried to flank around behind me but got stuck in place on some rocks. About 30 arrows later, dead. Did this around level 10 and got some pretty sweet loot from the giant as well as his camp.

tl;dr use the terrain to fight giants
