The 7th Guest coming to iOS ... from Trilobyte

Nov 2nd 2010 12:30PM (Joystiq)
I'm 22 and I've played this. My mom had it and I watched her play when I was a kid. The painting in the hall that the hands and face come out of scared the buhjeebus outta me, but I used to help her with the puzzles anyway. The "Old Man Stauf" poem thing was nightmare fuel for me, but the narrative kept me watching. It was the day after my 7th birthday that I started watching my parents play "this new creepy puzzle game your dad found at a yard sale", and my mom and I finally got to the end of the game the following February, 7 months after starting it.
Ah, childhood. It was a creepy time.

As a video game store employee, I can say we already don't sell anything inappropriate to minors.
Anything M-rated and we are required to give a warning and a brief summary of what it's rated M for.
You don't know how many times I've heard "my 6-year-old can play Grand Theft Auto. They don't know how to pick up prostitutes. They're just stealing cars."
Bottom line is that it's the parent's responsibility to be a PARENT TO THEIR CHILD.
Get involved, folks. Seriously. It's not anyone else's job to raise your kid.

I second TIE Fighter and X-Wing. I still have my boot disks from the old days. I've been playing them since I was 3 years old.
I just need a joystick.

I need to try the others on this list.
