I'm well on my way to beating the game without talking to anyone (other then people who talk to me first). I just slaughter everything that moves and the quests update (see: fail) themselves.

I wasn't able to actually beat the game. I encountered only a couple crashes, but the thing that stopped me was my saves disappearing/reverting.

I was up to the strip with Mr-[Spoiler redacted] at level ~19, and I saved and went to bed. When I launched the game again the latest save I had was level 5 in the town with the..."Lottery"

It's always nice to find out about my job security from a gaming news site :(
