Your last comment doesn't track for me - the only reason for the trend of every family member getting their own full computer is that full computers have historically been the only available devices for internet browsing, media playing, document producing etc. of any reasonable quality. Now that the iPad exists, I can totally see the trend changing to single-computer households with multiple iPads. For the majority of family members, the iPad does everything they've traditionally wanted a computer for.

What's that screenshot from? Is that a real promotion? Really strange to limit a giveaway to 45 year old males.

Allowing importing of audio files into GarageBand tracks is a BIG deal. That turns the app from a really nice musical instrument simulator into (potentially) an actual audio production tool. Still needs to allow for more direct manipulation of MIDI data though.

No one is suggesting that iCloud won't be available for Snow Leopard users - just that it won't be available for free.

You could update the app on the iPad and sync to iTunes, then sync your iPhone to iTunes. Or you could update the app directly in iTunes, in your Apps sidebar, and then sync your iPhone.

I put the chances of Blu-Ray support in Macs on the same level as the chances of Flash support in iOS.

How do you know there's no "one more thing"?

Weird that they're pre-announcing these things. Maybe there's another huge surprise in there.
