Big bang theory is a show about college life, of course. Mildly different since it's a show about a group of post doctoral nerds, but collegiate all the same.

for the record, Real World Season 4 was the most drama free, calm, and tramp free season of RW ever. It almost seamed like it was set in 1950.

I think its unfortunate that she did not include dr randy pausch in her list. He definitely became a household name this year, and was a worldwide fascination.

I kind of feel like this weeks digital short was sort of a rip-off of this.

you do realize that War is a BD-J title... which means the ps3 won't work with resume on that title. Resume only works on HDMV titles... not BD-J ones.

Actually, I'm pretty sure this is controled through a combination of Carnegie Mellon's virtual reality platform panda3d (http://panda3d.org) and they Shadow tracking interactive technology Playmotion (http://playmotion.com/). Carnegie Mellon has done a number of interactive virtual worlds like this in the past. While there was a 'performance' in the video, this was definitely driven by a real time technology, and not canned video. Practice makes perfect!

Quasi was a student project at Carnegie Mellon University a few years ago, and is now a small company focusing on making interactive androbotic characters for the entertainment industry.

I did some looking on itunes for things like this yesterday. It looks like some of the various Disney channel shows with special christmas specials are available, like kim possible's christmas episode, ravens', etc.
they aren't even from this season, which is great. Special episodes put on Itunes, exclusively for christmas.
I don't remember what I searched for, but I'm sure you could look and find a bunch more christmas special tv episodes on itunes.

This is definitely the burbank store. I went over there yesterday to grab a copy of elite beat agents, and I was confused by the line. I asked them what they were there for, and they informed me they were waiting for their PS3 and pointed to where the 'end of the line' is. When I asked why they weren't waiting by the West LA store, they responded with "well, is there a line over there? besides, I don't care. I'm first in line and I'm getting my PS3!".
When you think about it, after waiting for 11 days, (they've been waiting since Monday), the extra 8 hours until the store opens is pretty trivial.
